Optimal Witnessing of Healthcare IoT Data Using Blockchain Logging Contract

چکیده
Verification of data generated by wearable sensors is increasingly becoming concern to health service providers and insurance companies. These devices are typically vulnerable a wide range cybersecurity attacks, attempting manipulate sensing data. Most these disastrous attacks would remain undetected since neither healthcare servers nor Internet-of-Things (IoT) aware the existence attackers in middle communication. Thus, there need for verification framework that various authorities can request local network target IoT device. In this article, we leverage blockchain as distributed platform realize an on-demand scheme. This allows automatically transact with connected witnessing services. A public made witness statements on transmitted its network, subsequently, (in close vicinity IoT) offer service. Our contributions threefold: 1) develop system architecture based smart contract enables dynamically avail subject device from set witnesses which willing provide privacy-preserving manner) their wireless measurement exchange monetary return; 2) then method optimally select such way error minimized cost constraints; 3) finally, evaluate efficacy our scheme using real Wi-Fi session traces collected five-storeyed building more than thirty access points, representative hospital. According current pricing schedule Ethereum blockchain, verify typical order 0.01% at less $ 2 1-hr

NECTAR: Non-Interactive Smart Contract Protocol using Blockchain Technology
Blockchain-driven technologies are considered disruptive because of the availability of dis-intermediated, censorship-resistant and tamper-proof digital platforms of distributed trust. Among these technologies, smart contract platforms have the potential to take over functions usually done by intermediaries like banks, escrow or legal services. In this paper, we introduce a novel protocol aimin...

Due to their rapid growth and deployment, Internet of things (IoT) devices have become a central aspect of our daily lives. However, they tend to have many vulnerabilities which can be exploited by an attacker. Unsupervised techniques, such as anomaly detection, can help us secure the IoT devices. However, an anomaly detection model must be trained for a long time in order to capture all benign...
متن کاملPredicting and Witnessing Data Races Using CSP
Detecting and debugging data races is a complex task due to the large number of interleavings possible in a parallel program. Most tools can find the data races reliably in an observed execution, but they miss errors in alternative reorderings of events. In this paper we describe an automated approach to generate, from a single program trace, a model in CSP with alternative interleavings. We ch...
